My Journey

Three decades behind the camera

Hi, I’m Tim De Shazer! My photography journey began in 1993 when I volunteered at Miss Teen USA. Shortly afterward, I landed my first paid assignment with Miss Universe. That opportunity opened the door to photographing for organizations and teams including the Rams, Raiders, Clippers, USC, UCLA, and the U.S. Olympic Committee during the 1996 and 2000 Olympic Games.

While I’ve been fortunate to work at major events, what I enjoy most is capturing the moments that mean the most to people. Whether it’s a family milestone, senior night, a school event, or a community celebration, I love preserving the personalities, emotions, and memories that make each occasion special.

Photography has always been more than a career to me. It’s a passion. I take pride in every detail, working to create images my clients will treasure while making sure they feel comfortable, confident, and enjoy the experience in front of the camera.

    Picked up the camera for good

    What started as a fascination with freezing motion turned into a calling. The first assignments came in, and the eye started to sharpen.
